Burton Wold Wind Farm South - Revised Layout
Infinergy has gained planning consent to revise the consented project by reducing the number of turbines from 5 to 3 and increasing their height by 36.5m in order to be able to better harness the site's wind resource. Revising the consented scheme required a new planning application. Below we have published the documents supporting the new application. Please click the links to view the documents.

Open Day Information Boards
Please have a look at the information boards used at the Community Open Days in Burton Latimer and Finedon, November 2010.
The scoping report outlines what surveys and studies will be undertaken to assess potential impacts of the development on the local environment. The aim is always to avoid, minimise and mitigate any impacts. It goes out to consultees at the beginning of the project for their comments, which are taken on board in the Environmental Statement, the documents accompanying the planning application when submitted. Below is the scoping report for the consented 5-turbine scheme; the one for the 3-turbine scheme will be uploaded as soon as it has been registered with Kettering Borough Council.
